During a slow roast at a low temperature in a classic drum roaster, you can witness how the rock-hard core of the coffee cherry transforms into freshly roasted coffee, crisp and oh-so-fragrant. Journey with Jens Kirmse through the history of coffee in the in-house coffee museum and learn interesting facts about roasting equipment through the ages and coffee culture, coffee cultivation and harvesting, industrial roasting, and roasting in a coffee manufactory. The highlight of the show - coffee roasting: The freshly roasted coffee is tasted together.
The show - coffee roasting always takes place on Wednesdays and lasts approximately 1 hour.
