Typisch italienisch, würzig, kräftig - 80% Robusta - 20% Arabica
Coffee Blend „Napoli“ - typically Italian, spicy, strong
Not only the roast, but also the blend itself makes the „Napoli“ coffee blend what it is – a spirited Italian, lively, explosive, spicy, strong – simply a typical Italian. The „Napoli“ coffee blend consists of 80% Robusta coffee. Robusta is characterized by its elevated caffeine content, which makes the „Napoli“ coffee blend so lively. The Robusta, an Indian peaberry, is also called „Indian Pearls“. Peaberries are a specialty among coffee beans: only one seed ripens in the coffee cherry. The coffee bean has an exceptional shape reminiscent of a pearl. The Robusta is combined with an excellent Arabica from Brazil, an outstanding, exceptional coffee bean, classified as „Bourbon“. The coffee cherry is yellow at harvest and therefore also bears the name „Brasilien Yellow Bourbon“. Together, Robusta and Arabica merge to form the „Napoli“ coffee blend, bestowing upon it unparalleled spiciness and strength. Espresso "Napoli", not only fantastic as a coffee blend, but also a delight as espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiato.
The Secret of the Spiciness and Strength of the „Napoli“ Coffee Blend
80% Robusta - 20% Arabica - „Napoli“ coffee blend is an exclusive, explosive blend. Indian peaberry meets yellow Brazilian Bourbon - coffee bean.
- Coffee „Indian Pearls“
- Coffee „Brasil“
Indian Coffee, specifically the Indian peaberry, mostly grows in the shade, in direct proximity to pepper, cardamom, ginger, nuts, oranges, vanilla, mango, and jackfruit. The highlands of western southern India, the Western Ghats, are predestined for coffee cultivation, especially for this Indian Pearl Mountain coffee. Similar to „Monsooned Malabar“, Indian peaberries are exposed to the monsoon, accompanied by a subtropical climate. The highland coffee is hand-sorted, before the coffee is allowed to ferment for three days, then the highland coffee is hand-washed in mountain water before drying in the Indian sun. Coffee cultivation has a long tradition in India; 250,000 small farmers secure the livelihood of over 1 million people. Indian Pearl Mountain coffee, Pearlbean, Peaberry, or simply called Indian peaberry, has an impressive expression, delights with a richness of aromas and a pleasantly soft character and round fruit acidity – a culinary experience.
Coffee „Brasil“ carries the Bourbon classification. Only the Bourbon - coffee cherry is yellow at harvest and is exclusively harvested in Brazil and Kenya. Also known as Brasilien yellow Bourbon, the coffee from the Santos region is particularly special among Brazilian coffees. Exclusively obtained from 100% Arabica beans, the Brasilian Yellow Bourbon is harvested in a specific location, not to be confused or compared with other qualities of coffee from Brazil. Coffee „Brasil“, particularly mild and lovely, fine and sweet in aroma, with a round, harmonious taste and low acidity, pleasantly digestible.
