According to dripdrip, BREWJAR takes the article “das”. So we're happy to call it “das BREWJAR”, probably derived from “das Glas” (the glass) instead of “der Krug” (the jug). The BREWJAR comes from dripdrip, a trademark of Tradena Hamburg, who also developed the DRIPSTER². The DRIPSTER² is the ultimate Cold Brew Maker, with which you can produce an incomparable Cold Brew. The stylish Quattro Stagioni glass, which forms the vessel of the Brewjar Cold Brew Jar, is not only excellent as a Cold Brew maker but was originally perfectly suited for canning, similar to the German WECK-Glas or traditional canning jars. For generations, this glass has been produced in Italy and safely preserves culinary delights not just for the four seasons, but for years. Double-layered Stainless Steel Filter for pure Cold Brew and Flavors

The core of the BREWJAR is a double-layered stainless steel filter, specifically designed for pure Cold Brew enjoyment. The first layer, with its stable, hexagonal structure, is complemented by an extremely fine stainless steel mesh as the second layer. This way, with the BREWJAR filter, you obtain an exceptionally clear,

cold brewed coffee without unwanted fine particles. The filter is equipped with a gasket made of food-safe silicone. The rubber ring is also removable and therefore very easy to clean. Cold, clear coffee with tangy fruity to nutty chocolatey aromas is the result.

The Optimal Seal for Great Enjoyment

The silicone from which the rubber gasket is made is not only food-safe, but it also seals the BREWJAR hermetically and protects the Cold Brew coffee from foreign odors, for example in the refrigerator, and reliably seals against leakage.

Thus, the BREWJAR can even be easily shaken for even more effective extraction, unlike other Cold Brew makers where the mixture usually needs to be stirred. Upside-down storage and transport in all positions are safely possible with the sealing lid. Cold Brew Preparation with BREWJAR

Preparing Cold Brew with BREWJAR is as simple as it is brilliant: The coarsely ground coffee powder is filled into the stainless steel filter. A guideline is approximately 100g of ground coffee per liter of water. Insert the filter into the BREWJAR glass and pour cold water over it. Due to the added coffee powder, the capacity of the Cold Brew Jar is reduced accordingly by approximately 100 ml. Then place it in refrigeration for at least 12 hours, if not longer. The longer the Cold Brew Coffee steeps, the more intense its flavor becomes, and the more caffeine, for example, is extracted.

The small BREWJAR with a 1.0 l capacity is also excellent for small amounts of Cold Brew, as the filter insert extends close to the bottom of the glass. The large BREWJAR Cold Brew Jar features the identical filter with a capacity of 150g. Consequently, the filter is positioned much higher in the glass.
